Digital Media Designer

Location: Woburn MA, US

IX Cameras – the company developing the world’s most powerful ultra-slow-motion video cameras for science and industry – is looking for a creative digital media designer to join our growing marketing team. This job will include website design, implementation and maintenance, so web programming experience is a necessity. You will also design and develop feature videos that showcase ultra-slow- motion events for the web, for conferences and for presentations. Duties will also include layout and programming outbound email campaigns, banner ads, landing pages, microsites, social media and Adwords campaigns. You will report directly to the Director of Marketing.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

Web code development (HTML5/HTML/CSS/ CSS3/JS/ jQuery/ PHP, ASP.NET, or Ruby on Rails)
Creativity and artistic/graphic design skills
Experience with Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator) and MS Office applications
Experience with Final Cut, Avid or Premiere to make videos
Database experience
The ability to lay out brochures and datasheets
WordPress, theming and module development experience
Detail-orientated work ethic
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
