This matrix summarizes i-SPEED control software generations, supported camera
models, feature tiers, and Windows OS compatibility as of April 1, 2026.
i-SPEED software has evolved across three generations, supporting configurations from
basic control (no dongle) to advanced operation with optional DAQ integration. Support
for legacy systems (i-SPEED 1, 2, 3, FS, TR) ended in 2018.
All software versions are supported on Windows 10 and earlier. Gen 3 software is fully
compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11. Earlier generations that require Hardlock
or HASP dongles are not supported on Windows 11, restricting use of advanced feature
tiers on those systems.
