iX Cameras – the company developing the world’s most powerful ultra-fast video cameras for science and industry – is looking for an experienced VHDL FPGA programmer and digital circuit design engineer to work in both our R&D engineering and future technology teams in our Rochford (UK) Innovation Centre. IX Cameras is the former Olympus video engineering group.
To be successful, you will require a bachelor's or advanced degree in electronics; an electronics engineering background with a strong bias on digital systems; good knowledge and experience of VHDL; and digital circuit design skills. A working knowledge of Altera FPGAs (using Quartus) and version control systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of video systems, high-speed serial interfaces, DDR3 memory or PCI Express would be a strong advantage.
