The instrumentation case version of the i-SPEED 7 has a non removable handle and uses a removable tripod plate. If the camera is to be mounted onto a tripod then the plate can be used to mount via a suggested 3/8th tripod thread, if the tripod does not have this thread then the 1/4 20 tripod thread can be used. Some users may want to connect directly to the camera without the tripod plate, the diagram bottom right shows the dimensions of the 4x 1/4 20 fixings that should be used.
